Ohio to vote on blocking Federal Health mandates

While at least four countries have attempted to block the individual mandate that requires all of the people to buy health care–and 28 State Attorney General joined in the Supreme Court legal challenge–Ohio act differently because it is driven entirely by citizens.

In the months since the health care bill becomes law, opponents in Ohio has been collecting enough signatures on a petition to reach the required threshold 384.000 certified signatures to place the issue 3 on the November 8 vote.

Amendment of the Constitution reads in part, that no Government, both federal, or State or local “will force, directly or indirectly, the person, company, or your health care provider to participate in the health care system.”

“First, at the State level, it guarantees that the Ohio can never be a State like Massachusetts or Vermont with major State run health care system with a forced insurance mandate,” said Jeff Longstreth, Campaign Manager for Ohioans health independence.
